Josemi is a young student who one day decides to investigate the disappearance of his aunt Almudena in a village in the province of Zaragoza. Having obtained the approval of his parents, he volunteers to spend his holidays working at an archaeological site located in the very village where his aunt was last seen. Thus, at the ´Utebo Working Camp´ he meets up with Sabrina, a schoolmate of his, and Coleman, a village lad who during the summer holidays is in charge of technical maintenance at the local radio station. For different reasons, the three youngsters all become involved in the investigation. Their somewhat improvised detective work leads them to seek advice from Mendy, a fortune-teller who works at the radio station and to stumble upon certain vital, rather gruesome details. And, as is only to be expected, a rivalry arises between the two boys for the love of Sabrina. Finally, they manage to solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Josemi’s aunt. In a flowing style punctuated at times by humourous touches, the authors present the reader with a typical detective story, one which, brimming with mystery and suspense, has a group of youngsters as its main characters and is set in the present day.
