On a corner of a city there is a pelican crossing. One day, the green man of the crossing decides to leave his workplace and have a day off to go on holiday to the beach, because he is growing tired of working every single day of the year. When the green man of the pelican crossing disappears, there is a tremendous pedestrian jam because they can’t cross the road. Different characters arrive at each corner: a blind man, the Son-Soles sisters, a grandmother and her grandson, a policeman, salesmen, photographers, journalists… and the situation gets more and more complicated as more and more people arrive at the jam. Nightfall brings the solution to the problem: the little green man returns to his work place, tanned and looking somewhat Caribbean, and normality returns to the street corner. All the people go home dreaming of spending a day at the beach.
