This book tells about what happens to Amanda, who walks on a hundred feet. Lately she’s been in a rotten mood, but since nobody knows what’s the matter, they call in Doctor Snail to see if she’s sick. After performing a serious in-depth medical examination, the doctor diagnoses Amanda as wearing her shoes too tight, since they’re the same shoes she learned to walk in. So, he simply prescribes new shoes. In order to buy the 50 pairs of new shoes Amanda needs, all the little creatures in the garden work together to build an amusement park. Contributing their work, their skills and their support, together they try to solve Amanda’s problem. They finally earn enough money, but it costs so much to buy 50 pairs that Amanda has to make do with wearing different-colored shoes, and eventually she sets a snazzy new fashion.
